The purpose of this email is to notify districts of updates to the 2019–2020 and 2020–2021 ݮƵ Testing Calendars. In response to feedback we received from districts and the Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA) Superintendent Cabinet, as well as in consultation with TASA’s executive leadership, the ݮƵ has revised the testing calendars. The revised calendars are posted on the ݮƵ website at .
The State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR®) paper assessments will continue to be available during a one-week testing window for April and May; however, the one-week paper administration has been moved up to coincide with the first week of the two-week online administration. Online testing for April and May STAAR assessments will continue to be available during a two-week testing window (except for grades 4 and 7 writing, English I, and English II, which are administered on a scheduled date for both paper and online).
